AT&t will audit the climate audit it’s conducting of the dominion audit, which focuses on climate change, the company said in a regulatory filing Friday.
The company also will conduct an independent investigation into the audit, it said.
The study, to be conducted by a third-party company, will examine the findings of the report and report to AT&ts management and board, it added.
AT&s board of directors approved the audit last year.
The report, the second by the company since it was formed in 2009, will focus on a variety of issues that have been raised in the dominion investigation.
In November, AT&ths board asked the company to provide a more complete response to questions about the dominion report, including the results of its internal review of the audit and other information, including whether any actions have been taken to address those findings.AT&t said last month that the study, which is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, will look at whether there were any changes AT&Ts leadership has made to address the concerns raised.
AT &t’s board approved the study in September.
